Women's Tuesday Morning Bible Study
The Women of the Word study group is currently reading “Prayer in the Night,” a six-week study “framed around a nighttime prayer of Compline.”
The week of Tuesday, September 28th we will discuss Part 3 (chapters 6 through 9): Give Your Angels Charge Over Those Who Sleep; Tend the Sick, Lord Christ; Give Rest to the Weary; and Bless the Dying. While reading ahead is helpful to the discussion, it is not necessary.
On October 19th, we will conclude the Compline study with Morning Prayer followed by a potluck. Break out your favorite recipes and join us in prayer and fellowship!
Beginning October 26th, we will explore Bishop N.T. Wright’s “Book of Genesis,” a video series. No book purchase is necessary for this upcoming study.
