Support & Resilience

Providing support and resilience to our military members and their families through our attentiveness to quality worship and education, a supportive network of relationships and constant prayer - especially during military member deployments.

Education & Training for Chaplains

Supplying a program of education and training opportunities for clergy and clergy-applicants of the Anglican Communion in North America (ACNA) who aspire to serve as chaplains, especially for those who serve or are applying to serve as military chaplains.

 

Seminars for Supporters

Delivering half-day educational seminars to any church, ministry, or organization wishing to learn effective ways of engaging in ministry to help bring strength and healing to military members and families. Seminars address the issues of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), as well as promote proactive approaches for ministry. Lead presenters include veterans and subject matter experts.  If you’re not sure where to begin, this seminar is for you! 

 

Special Projects

Sponsoring special projects throughout the year that provide substantive support to our military members and their families. This year members of St. George’s Anglican Church have provided assistance to homeless veterans, support for The Crawford House and care packages to deployed military members through our annual Stockings for Soldiers project.  Check out our Special Projects page to see the latest happenings on this Ministry Front!

 

Solid Resources & Networking

Providing a continuously updated listing of solid, front line Front Range resources that can confidently be called upon to assist in providing first class services and care to military members and their families.  And working to facilitate effective networking among military ministry providers around the Colorado Springs area and across the nation.
